Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4. The specific subject mix can be tailored to the candidate’s strengths (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies). You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons, support student progress, and play an active role within a thriving Humanities department.
Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4

Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons

Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress

Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment

Participating in department and whole-school activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification

Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed)

Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities disciplines

Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for education
