About the Organisation
The organisation is the charitable arm of a leading football club, using the power of football to create opportunities, improve lives and make a lasting difference within local communities across North London.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and passionate about finding solutions that make a lasting difference.
The organisation is looking for someone who doesn't just fix problems as they arise, but takes the time to understand why they are happening, gets to the root cause and identifies sustainable solutions to prevent them from recurring.
As Insight & Impact Officer, you will play a key role in helping the organisation understand, measure and maximise its impact. Working across data, systems and processes, you will turn information into meaningful insight, improve data quality and support colleagues to make better-informed decisions.
Working closely with the Insight & Impact Manager and teams across the organisation, you will help connect people, processes, systems and data to drive continuous improvement and strengthen the organisation's social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse programme performance and community impact, producing meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide clear, accessible performance information.
- Monitor data quality, identifying and resolving missing, inconsistent or inaccurate information.
- Support the development and improvement of systems, processes and workflows.
- Investigate data and system issues, getting to the root cause and identifying practical, sustainable solutions.
- Work with colleagues to improve data collection, reporting and the effective use of technology.
- Provide guidance, training and support to colleagues to build confidence in using systems and data.
- Support programme monitoring, KPIs and impact measurement.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, communicating findings clearly and effectively.
About You
We are looking for someone who is inquisitive, proactive and solutions-focused, with a natural instinct to question, investigate and understand how things work.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working with data in an analytical, operational or systems-based environment.
- Practical experience of working with datasets, including analysing, cleaning and checking information.
- Confidence using Excel or similar tools to manipulate and analyse data.
- Experience using databases, CRM systems or other operational technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- A curious mindset and the ability to investigate issues, identify underlying causes and develop sustainable solutions.
- The confidence to explore unfamiliar systems, ask questions and learn quickly.
- The ability to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible way.
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to support colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Salesforce experience is desirable, alongside experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience within a charity, community, sport, education or other purpose-led organisation would also be beneficial.
If you are passionate about using data and insight to drive positive change, enjoy getting to the bottom of challenges and want to develop solutions that have a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you.
