We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and impactful charity for a Team Manager to lead a dynamic frontline team supporting individuals with complex needs who have experienced long-term rough sleeping. About the Job:
Based at a direct access accommodation service, you will manage a committed team of 9 staff and work closely with the associated day centre to support people directly from the streets. This is a pivotal leadership position, responsible for delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support within a psychologically informed environment.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of the service, leading innovative approaches, and ensuring a joined-up, multi-agency response to tackling rough sleeping. This includes managing day-to-day operations, safeguarding, data and performance monitoring, and fostering community and partnership collaboration.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver effective, compassionate, and trauma-informed support
- Manage service performance, ensuring quality standards, safeguarding practices, and KPIs are consistently met
- Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and development of staff and volunteers
- Work collaboratively with local partners to co-produce activities and specialist services tailored to individual needs
- Ensure high standards in housing management, including void turnaround, occupancy, and service charge collection
- Monitor and report on service data, outcomes, and client satisfaction using a dedicated case management system
- Support strategic objectives to reduce rough sleeping and promote long-term recovery and resettlement
About you:
- Proven experience managing a frontline support service, ideally within homelessness, housing, or social care
- Strong leadership, communication, and staff development skills
- Knowledge of trauma informed and psychologically informed approaches
- Confident in safeguarding, risk management, and service planning
- Comfortable managing budgets, data, and working to KPIs
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
