We are seeking caring and reliable Support Workers to provide high quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes.

Position: Support Worker
Salary: £15 per hour
Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
Hours: Flexible, full time and part time available
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

You will be supporting elderly clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain independence, dignity and quality of life. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, combining practical support with meaningful companionship.

Please note, this role is open to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010 due to the nature of personal care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care with dignity and respect
  • Supporting with daily routines including meals and mobility
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with light household tasks
  • Prompting or supporting with medication
  • Keeping accurate records and communicating with the wider team

About You

You will be someone who genuinely cares about others and takes pride in making a difference.

You will have:

  • A kind, patient and dependable nature
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible approach to working hours including mornings, evenings and weekends
  • A commitment to delivering person-centred care
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Previous experience in care is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.
