Assistant Team Leader
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Team Leader to support a residential service delivering person centred care to adults with learning disabilities.
Position: Assistant Team Leader
Salary: £24,176.27 per annum
Location: Lawford, Manningtree and Mistley (CO11 2NJ)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

About the Role
As Assistant Team Leader, you will support the effective running of an eight bed residential service, working alongside the Team Leader to ensure high quality, person centred care is delivered at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting, guiding and mentoring staff, leading by example
- Assisting with rota management and day to day team coordination
- Updating care plans, risk assessments and support protocols
- Administering medication in line with procedures
- Providing hands on care and support where required
- Ensuring care provision reflects a strong person centred ethos
You will work flexibly across a range of shifts to support both the team and the people who use the service.
About You
You will be passionate about delivering high quality care and supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
You will have:
- Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Either working towards or completed Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Experience in a care setting supporting adults with additional needs
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to lead by example and support a team effectively
- A genuine commitment to person centred care
